System Requirements Lab (Review)

by on Nov.22, 2011, under News

I have seen a lot of people listing their computer specifications and asking if they are capable of running a game or not.

A simple Google search brought me to System Requirements Lab, a site I like to use when any new games come out. As stated on their website:

Get your complete report in seconds including upgrade suggestions for your computer. Only your system’s hardware and system software are evaluated. Works on Windows XP, 2000, 2003, Vista and 7. Works with Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome browsers. You will need to give your permission to download a secure ActiveX/Java browser component.

So basically you visit their site, choose your game and the website will tell you whether your hardware is good enough to play the game or not. In order to start the test you’re required to have Java installed.

After doing the tests it will tell you which hardware you might need to upgrade (in my case it should work flawlessly).
