Windows 7: Search gone

Yesterday I noticed I was missing the search box of my Windows 7 installation. I’ve got no idea of how I managed to remove it, however I use the search function pretty much everyday, and had to find a way to restore it.
Frankly, finding a solution for this problem was quite easy:
1.) I opened the Control Panel
2.) Then chose Programs and Features
3.) Clicked on Enable or Disable Windows Features
4.) And checked Windows Search
After restarting my computer the Windows Search was back and worked fine again.
