Firefox: Disable Google Instant permanently
by admin on Oct.12, 2011, under Random()
In a former article I already wrote how to temporarily disable Google Instant and Google Suggest. This method still works fine, however there always were ways to easily bypass it and whenever I entered http://www.google.com, Google Instant got enabled over and over again.
Considering the fact I am using Mozilla Firefox whenever I surf the web, I was sure there was a way to permanently disable the annoying feature Google Instant. After doing some research I found a great Firefox plugin called GoogleEnhancer. This plugin enhances Google search results with plenty of useful features and is also capable of permanently disabling Google Instant.
After installing it I had to configure the addon to disable Google Instant and it’s working fine.
You can download the plugin from addons.mozilla.org, I highly recommend it.
